Refund & Return Policy

At TheDarkAcademic, we want you to be satisfied with your purchase. If you are not completely satisfied, you may request a return within 30 days of receiving your order, subject to the conditions below.

30-Day Return Window

You have 30 days from the date you receive your order to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, the item must:

• Be unused, unworn, and unwashed;

• Be in the same condition in which it was received;

• Include all original packaging, tags, labels, and accessories; and

• Show no signs of wear, damage, alteration, or misuse.

We may request photographs of the item before approving the return.

Returns requested more than 30 days after delivery may not be accepted unless otherwise required by applicable law.

How to Request a Return

To start a return:

1. Contact us at

   within 30 days of receiving your order.

2. Include your:

   • Order number;

   • Name;

   • Item or items you wish to return; and

   • Reason for the return.

3. Please allow approximately 24-48 hours for us to review your request and respond with return instructions.

4. If your return is approved, we will provide the applicable return instructions, return authorization, return address, or shipping label when applicable.

5. Ship or deliver the returned item according to the instructions provided.

Please do not send products back without first receiving return instructions from us.

Return Shipping

Where we provide a prepaid return label or other free-return service, you must use the instructions and shipping method provided.

For returns resulting from a defective, damaged, incorrect, or mis-shipped item, TheDarkAcademic will cover reasonable return shipping costs where applicable.

For other returns, including returns based on preference, sizing, or change of mind, return shipping costs may be the customer's responsibility unless otherwise stated during the return process.

Original shipping charges are generally non-refundable unless the return is due to an error by TheDarkAcademic or otherwise required by law.

Refunds

Once your returned package is received, it will be inspected to confirm that it meets the return requirements.

If approved, your refund will be processed to the original payment method used for the purchase.

We will notify you after the return has been received and reviewed.

Please allow additional time for your bank, credit card issuer, or payment provider to post the refund to your account after it has been issued.

Items that do not meet the return requirements may be denied a refund.

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order when it arrives.

If an item is damaged, defective, or different from what you ordered, contact us as soon as possible and preferably within 7 days of delivery.

Please include:

• Your order number;

• A description of the issue; and

• Clear photographs showing the item and the problem.

If the issue is confirmed, we will work with you to provide an appropriate resolution, which may include a replacement, refund, or other remedy.

Non-Returnable Items

Certain items may not be eligible for return for health, hygiene, safety, personalization, or other reasons.

Examples may include:

• Personalized or custom-made products;

• Gift cards;

• Items marked as final sale;

• Items that have been worn, washed, altered, or damaged after delivery; and

• Items returned without their original packaging, tags, or accessories when required.

If you are unsure whether an item is eligible for return, please contact us before sending it back.

Exchanges

If you would like a different size, color, or item, contact us at thekinddon@gmail.com.

Exchange availability depends on current inventory.

In some cases, the fastest option may be to return the original item for a refund and place a new order for the desired item.

Order Cancellations

If you need to cancel an order, contact us as soon as possible.

We will make reasonable efforts to cancel the order before it enters processing or ships. However, we cannot guarantee cancellation after an order has already been processed or shipped.

If the order has already shipped, you may request a return after receiving it in accordance with this policy.

Returned or Refused Packages

If an order is returned because of an incorrect or incomplete shipping address, refusal of delivery, or failure to collect the package, additional shipping charges may apply before the order can be reshipped.

Any refund for such an order may be reduced by non-refundable shipping costs where permitted by law.

Refund Processing Time

After a return is received and approved, we will initiate the refund promptly.

The time required for the refund to appear in your account varies by payment provider or financial institution and may take several business days.
